Yes, it's that time of year. Our club's dues are still a bargain at only $30 a year. They pay for our audio-video equipment, special events, and more. If you've already paid, you have our thanks for your support.

Welcome!
You’ve come to the award-winning home of one of the oldest woodturning clubs in the U.S. We bring woodturners of all skill levels together to share ideas and techniques, and we promote turning as both a craft and an art form.
What we do.
At our meetings, you'll see woodturning demonstrations, share ideas, and have a chance to show off your work. We alternate monthly meetings at the Brookfield Craft Center with learning sessions at members' shops.

Nutmeg's Newest Lifetime Member
Allen Nemetz, a mainstay of our club for many years, is our newest Lifetime Member. Allen was a longtime resident of Brookfield, but declining health has led him and his wife to move to a senior-living facility. Jim Degen, another Nutmeg mainstay, (at the right in the photo) recently presented Allen with a framed letter making his status as a Lifetime Member official.
Allen is the club's third Lifetime Member. The others are Angelo Iafrate, a past president of the club as well as a former chair of the American Association of Woodturners, and Andy Barnum, who founded the club in 1989.

The AAW is the world's largest organization devoted to work on the lathe. We urge all Nutmeg members to also join the AAW.
Our club has a long and rewarding association with the Brookfield Craft Center, which offers a wide range of classes in turning, weaving, jewelry, pottery, digital arts, and more.
Join the ongoing discussions on our Facebook group. Members can share images of their work, see what others are doing, and keep up with club events.
Join the club's Google Group to stay in touch with other Nutmeggers. This is a great resource if you have tools to sell or wood to share, or if you're in the market for tools or wood.
